After a long struggle with Lung Cancer, former NTV reporter Janet Kanini-Ikua has passed on.
The mother of two, who left the Country for cancer treatment in India in 2015, was declared healed and free of cancer last year and had been living life healthily and happily until she went to be with the Lord this morning.
After her condition was made public, Janet’s plight moved Kenyans and celebrities alike who donated millions towards her medication in a huge concert dubbed One Nation For Janet.
Celebrities, media personalities, bloggers and ordinary Kenyans alike have flocked Twitter to condole with her family and pay tribute to the woman they say was always happy, bubbly and smiling.
