Two youngsters are receiving national attention and this is after dwarfing veterans and incumbents in the ongoing party primaries heading into the august 8 elections.

They are none other but 34 year Stephen Sang from Nandi County and Ben Oluoch Okello from Migori who was a former journalist  working with Radio Ramogi.

Stephen sent the current governor Cleophas Lagat  home by garnering 27, 336 with his biggest competitor being Henry Kosgei who gunnered 12,341 votes.

Ben Oluoch was contesting the senatorial seat and managed to garner 68,194 votes as opposed to his opponents Gordon Odhiambo and Michael Otieno garnered 28,696 and 24,997 votes respectively.

Obado won the Gubernatorial race in the County with 101,322 votes to Ochillo Ayacko’s 54,024 votes.
