Nairobi, Tuesday, August 22- A Kenyan woman has taken over the streets with her desperate appeal for a husband written on a huge placard.

Peris Nyambura who claims to be a 28-year-old mother of one took the idea of husband-hunting a little too far.

The woman even dressed in a cheap wedding gown and dressed her daughter in preparation of the wedding to come.

She took a placard that was emblazoned with her contact details before jumping right into the busy streets of Nairobi.

She was in the company of her 7-year-old daughter who was carrying a small transistor radio- for a little attention.

According to the reports on social media, the woman traversed through Nairobi town in the hope that her prayer would be answered.

Interestingly, the past year, scores of jobless Kenyans took to the streets to beg for jobs while holding personal details on huge banners.

While the quest for jobs has worked, it is not immediately clear whether the woman will get her hearts longing.
