Nairobi, August 23- President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked the leader of opposition Raila Odinga to concede defeat.
Speaking in Bomet when he attended the inauguration of Joyce Laboso as governor, Uhuru asked Raila to emulate Isaac Ruto who had already conceded.
Isaac Ruto who is the ex-governor of Bomet was beaten by Jubilee’s Joyce Laboso at the just concluded General Election.
President Uhuru welcomed NASA’s move to lodge their petition at the Supreme Court but asked Raila to accept the defeat and move on.
He explained that Jubilee had bagged a majority of seats in the country and had beaten their competition fair and square.

He also asked Isaac Ruto to abandon NASA and join Jubilee for a chance to work with the winning team.
Raila and his team had filed a petition at the Supreme Court and backed it with 25,000 pages of evidence.
They claimed that President Uhuru’s win was generated by an algorithm that has been fed to the IEBC servers prior to the election.
