NASA is in for tough campaign in Ukambani and this is after a section of Kamba leaders quit the coalition and declared their support for president Uhuru.
Led by former Kitui senator David Musila and former Mwingi West MP Bernard Kitungi, the leaders preached a message of inclusivity where the Kamba people needed to be in government in the coming 5 years in order to experience development.
We cannot afford to be outside government for another 5 years so the logical thing to do is support the winning team and be assured of development. Mr. Musila declared in a rally in Kitui.
This statement was echoed by the other 18 leaders who vowed to drum up support for Jubilee and make sure Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto remain in State House.
According to them, they were sick and tired of always being held hostage by NASA principal Kalonzo Musyoka who has frustrated development in Ukambani.
Their declaration comes in the wake of unveiling of Jubilee’s plan to win the elections which included political losers in areas considered not their strongholds.
