Talanta Awards USA held a successful Grand Finale in the heart of Nairobi on Friday, December 15.

Just so you are in the know, Talanta Awards USA was began by Meggie Waruri close to a decade ago and traverses the  Kenya countryside  in search of raw talent.

Once they get talented youth, they hold competitions, award and nurture talents until they get a star.

We are talking about the likes of Willy Paul, Bahati and most recently, the girl with the voice of a nightingale; Gladys Syokau.

So, back to our tall tale.

Talanta held a grand finale last month and got the winners to do a song together.

As a matter of fact and as this publication has been duly notified, the song; the audio and the video were shot in less than 24 hours!

Yet it is beautiful. Mind-numbingly sonorous and catchy.

Most importantly, the 7 budding musicians sang of Kenya in a message that resonates with all across the board. Kenya ni ya Mungu. Kenya belongs to God.

Kudos to Talanta Awards, to Meggie Waruri, Paul Asembo and the entire crew and kudos to the 7-member team for putting together such a beautiful song.
